As part of its preparations for the 1447H Umrah season, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the official operational calendar for serving Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque arriving from outside the Kingdom.

The preparation program includes launching an external agent qualification service through the "Nusuk – Masar Umrah platform", facilitating partnership agreements between Umrah companies and international agents during the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, and initiating contracts for the design and development of integrated Umrah service packages.

These initiatives support Saudi Arabia's broader strategic objective of welcoming 30 million Umrah pilgrims annually by 2030, an ambitious milestone that requires expanding accommodation and transportation capacity while at the same moment delivering a fully digital pilgrimage journey.

The new ecosystem is built around seamless integration between the "Nusuk platform, the Tawakkalna application", and the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), connecting permits, accommodation, transportation, and traveler services into a unified digital experience.

For industry leaders, the message is clear: Umrah is no longer a seasonal operation. It has become part of a year round religious tourism economy that requires technology partners capable of scaling at the same pace as the Kingdom's vision.
