In line with the orientation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt toward strengthening digital transformation in the Hajj system, and under the supervision of the Central Administration for Tourism Companies, Safa Soft has contributed technically to the development of the “Rafeeq” application.

This digital solution fills a real gap that Egyptian pilgrims have faced for years: the difficulty of direct and reliable communication between pilgrims and the field supervision teams in the Holy Lands.

What makes “Rafeeq” different is not only its existence, but the tangible difference it creates in the Hajj experience. The pilgrim, who finds himself amid scenes of hundreds of thousands of pilgrims and in need of guidance, support, or urgent information, is no longer alone in facing this crowd; instead, he now carries in his hand a direct line to a team that monitors and supports him moment by moment.

On the other hand, field supervision teams are able to track pilgrims more efficiently and with more precise tools, improving response levels and reducing operational gaps in one of the most complex logistical environments on earth.

This project reaffirms Sfa Soft’s role as a specialized technical partner in building digital solutions for the Hajj, Umrah, and tourism sectors. Solutions developed from a deep understanding of the needs of the sector, pilgrims, and Umrah performers.
